My Yorkie Baby

My little Yorkie baby is now 8 months old and he weighs in at 4lbs 4oz. I think he has about a 1/2lb in hair :-)

At just over 4 pounds he is still very small.

He still feels very new to me and as you can see still has that puppy look. He is SO cute in looks and in personality! He really is the perfect lil pup.

Rocky is now 6 months old. He weighs 3.7 pounds I took pics to show that although he gained weight, He hasn't gotten that much bigger!

I made my yorkie baby some jammies out of baby blue and white stripped flannel material. Daddy said he would save Rocky from this. What does he mean?

Sarah came by with Zoe. Rocky won't leave her alone when they come over. I put Zoe's hair in a clip and Sarah Loves it!

Went in for his last baby shots today. He now weighs 2.4 at 17.3 weeks. He gained 1oz per week in the last 3 weeks

My little guy got more puppy shots. He does not like that at all. The Vet told me to look for a puffy face - This would be an allergic reaction. Now, how can you spot a puffy face on a little guy that already has a puffy face :-)

Another Bath Because He Had...

A FLEA!!!!

Poor little guy was itching and couldn't stop. I didn't want to wait for morning to bathe him so he got one tonight.

He has been VERY good during the night. He goes in his crate by my bed. He will start making a tiny whimper between 5-7 am. I take him out of his crate and bring him into the bathroom. I put newspaper in the tub and he tinkles. I read about that somewhere. It beats going outside into the cold morning. When I go back to bed, he comes in with me. He lays up above me and I have a hand on him. I want to make sure I feel him if he moves. Our 4 year old still sleeps with us and I want to keep him safe. In the spring we will have our little boy camp on the side of our bed then into his own bed before he starts school in September. That's what we did with the 5 kids before him. After that, Rocky will always sleep in our bed.

He is SO soft and fluffy now. Mommy just had to play so I put a clip in his hair :-)

My New yorkie Baby

I fell in love with the pictures of this little baby doll face yorkie and just had to have him. Mama needs a baby :-) I have 6 kids and the youngest is now 4 years old.

I contacted Jimmie of wyco Farms to see if he was still available and she said he was. We picked him up the next day, 12/22/06 at the airport. He flew from Missouri to California. He was born 9/25/06.

At his first vet check the next day (23rd) he weighed 1.6 lbs at 12 weeks/5 days. They say at 12-13 weeks you double the weight and have the adult weight. This would make him 2 pounds 12 oz full grown. We'll see how close that formula is. His daddy is 3.5 pounds and his mom about 4. What a tiny little guy. He is just what I wanted!

We named him Rocky
